Lake of the Arbuckles: January 29.  Elevation 3 4/5 ft. below normal, water 47 and stained. Bass hitting jigs, jerkbaits, and Alabama rigs. Crappie and White bass hitting CC spoons along creek channel bends at 35-55 ft. Crappie slow off of docks but hitting Chartruese jigs over deep brushpiles. Report submitted by Jack Melton.

Blue River: January 30. Elevation normal, water 42 and murky. Trout good on garlic scented Power Bait, in-line spinners, and meal worms. Fly-fishing good on wooly buggers, elk hair caddis flies, soft-hackle pheasant tails, and emergers. Channel catfish fair on stinkbait around structure in larger pools. Broken Bow: January 29. Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spotted bass good on black jigs, jig-and-pig, black #11, and black and blue flake in deeper water. Catfish good on juglines baited with cut bait. Eufaula:  January 30. Elevation ½ ft. above normal. Largemouth bass slow. White bass slow. Blue catfish fair on fresh shad on flats and in creek channels. Konawa:  January 28. Elevation normal, water 48 and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits at 5-15 ft. around points and in the discharge canal. McGee Creek:  January 29. Elevation 5 ½ ft. above normal, water 49 and murky. Black bass fair on soft plastic lures and jig-and-pigs at 6-20 ft. Crappie fair around cedar brush and just off of main creek channels at 10-20 ft. Channel catfish fair to good on liver and stinkbait in upper creek channels where fresh water is coming in. Sardis Lake: January 29. Elevation 6 in. above normal. Largemouth bass fair to good on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and swim baits. Channel catfish and Blue catfish good on cut bait and dipped minnows. Texoma:  January 29. Elevation ½ ft. below normal, water 50 and murky to the north and clear to the south. Largemouth bass and Smallmouth bass fair to good on plastic worms, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits at 10-15 ft. around points and drop-offs. Striped bass and White bass fair to good on live bait, slabs and sassyshad at 15-20 ft. from Alberta Creek to the south and west. Channel catfish and Blue catfish fair to good on live bait and stinkbait at 10-15 ft. from Platter Flats to the north. Crappie fair to good on minnows and jigs at 5-10 ft. in Kansas and Widowmoore Creeks. Paddlefish fair below the dam while generating. Catfish good on fresh cut bait and stinkbait in creek channels and at the spillway. Crappie good on minnows and yellow, green, and red jigs at the fishing dock and around brush structure. Kaw: January 31. Elevation normal, water 44 and clear. Crappie good on 2 in. black and green jigs and minnows at 20 - 25 ft. around brush piles that have been placed close to natural structure such as drop-offs and riprap from the upper Arkansas river to the dam. Blue catfish fair on juglines using cut gizzard shad at 5 - 30 ft. in the upper portion of the lake in river channels. Trotlines using cut gizzard shad are also effective. Keystone:  January 17. Elevation normal, water murky. Crappie being caught on minnows, tube jigs and hair jigs at 10-15 ft. and off the docks. Catfish being caught on but bait, gold fish large shiners and worms. Walleye and saugeye being caught on shiners in the lake. Report submitted by Woody’s Bait and Tackle II.

Lower Illinois:  January 29. Elevation normal, water 43 and clear. Largemouth bass slow on stinkbaits at 1-3 ft. in coves towards the mouth of the river. Striped bass fair on jigs at 1-3 ft. at the mouth of the river. Channel catfish good on cut bait on the bottom along all of the river.
