   McIntosh County authorities received a report of a blue box trailer being stolen from the Carr Creek area on March 23, 2011. The trailer was taken between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Local residents reported seeing a red dually truck leaving the area pulling a blue box trailer. The missing trailer is 14’ long and 8’ tall. Anyone with information about this felony crime, is asked to contact the McIntosh County Crime Stoppers Tip Line 800-222- TIPS (8477). You can remain anonymous and may receive a cash reward. You may be eligible for an additional reward of $1,000 offered by the owner of this trailer.

    Saturday, March 3, 2011, at approximately 10 am a black male broke into the office of the Dollar General Store in Checotah. The suspect stole cash and credit cards from employees’ purses. He is described as being about 5' 10" tall, weighing around 240lbs. Authorities believe this same individual to be one of the suspects in other burglaries at Buddy’s and the Dollar General in Checotah several months earlier.
